Almost 600 titles were published on 3 September, and apparently a lot more to come- which is causing problems for even the big bookstores to try & stock all of them. Obviously some of them have their eye on the Christmas market, but in the meantime, I feel it is our duty to read EVEN more and particularly support the less well known, non celebrity authors...!

In my opinion...

This is the perfect commute book- it has short chapters, with the  rapidly moving plot alternating between the present day and the time of the murders. In my opinion...

I  read that 2018 is the year of Cornwall and historical fiction- a great combination as I love both subjects, so I was intrigued to read this debut novel.

In my opinion...

Unsettling, dark & spooky- an unputdownable story set in beautiful but wild Cornwall, based around the fascinating history of the tin mines. If you enjoyed The Ice Twins, which I did, you will love the latest novel from SK Tremayne, as for me, it was an even better story.
