WHOSE SIDE ARE YOU ON?

I was drinking...

Endless black coffees, the story was so tense, I felt the need to stay alert!

In my opinion....

From the start of this novel I was dragged into the story, and anyone who has children will know those terrifying few seconds, when you can’t see your child. For most of us, that is the end of it. For Rachel the nightmare was just beginning.

I had read several similar novels recently involving missing children, but that didn’t stop me from being totally involved and wanting to race through this novel, to find out what had happened.

The story is skilfully told, and moves on through being developed from different viewpoints . The characters are well drawn and believable.

Right up to the end I wasn’t sure ‘whodunnit’ , and I will definitely look for Gilly Macmillan’s work again
