In my opinion...
This is an extreme, very dark, locked room thriller.
The six authors invited to an exclusive island writing retreat are all flawed characters, and during the course of the novel as we gradually learn more about them, many red herrings and twists are introduced into the story.
I found this very uncomfortable reading, some of the descriptions were just too graphic for me, but on the other hand I felt compelled to keep reading to find out who was the killer.

An undecided 3.5 to 4 glasses.
I really don't have the stomach for graphic descriptions, but the actual story with its endless twists, turns and pace did keep me guessing until the end.
