The Abduction
In my opinion... I enjoyed AA Chaudhuri’s first novel The Scribe, so was interested to read her second novel. The premise was interesting & once again I liked Maddy & Carver’s characters. The story moves along at pace with twists and turns, but I found it a little disconcerting that early on I was let into the secret of what had happened, and why- which didn't leave me with any surprise revelations. Also, I know I'm a horrible cynic, but I really don't see that Maddy could be
